Welwyn Garden City GC
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club was founded in 1923 and is the home Club of Sir Nick Faldo and Walker Cup player, Tom Lewis, who turned professional in 2011 and secured his European Tour Card by winning the 2011 Portugal Masters in only his third professional tournament.
The Club has the reputation for consistently providing members and guests with one of the best courses in Hertfordshire. It also offers excellent dining and drinking facilities, and a warm, friendly welcome.
It is a traditional but progressive members’ club with over 600 playing members. It has an active membership, friendly clubhouse atmosphere, and a very strong junior section. Societies and visitors are very welcome during the week, with some availability at weekends.
The busy social calendar contributes to encouraging a social membership of around 150 people.

Some availability for all categories of membership, including our NEW Corporate Membership package.
We are holding an Open Day on Saturday 21 March from 11am - 4.30pm. There will be free tester lessons (to be booked in advance) and great membership offers. Come and find out more about the Club and what it can offer you either for golf or socially.
In order to show off the course and Club to ladies who might not have played at WGC Golf Club before, or for a while, we are offering free green fees to visiting ladies during the month of March 2015 subject to availability.
We will try to match or beat any prices that you can get at other golf retail outlets, so why not drop in or ring our pro shop for a quote, great advice and a great deal.
You don't have to be a member to book a lesson with our professional Stuart Mason. Take advantage of the great offers on individual, group and junior instruction. INDOOR SWING STUDIO NOW OPEN - have your lesson in the warm during the winter!
