Ladies Scratch Cup Winner 2008 - Julie Dyke	There are currently 100 playing ladies in the club, most of whom play on a fairly regular basis, whether in matches, competitions, or socially. The Ladies are split fairly evenly between 6½ day and 5 day members. The Ladies Committee are responsible for running the section for the benefit of all lady members. Events include a half day and full invitation day, Lady Captain’s Day, Ladies Open and the popular Christmas Party. Ladies can play at any time, except Sunday mornings which are reserved for Men. Ladies competitions are played on Tuesday mornings and Saturdays, to ensure that lady members who work during the week are able to participate. The Ladies participate in ladies and mixed matches against other clubs, matches against the seniors and juniors, and various mixed club competitions. The ladies also participate in Pearson matches against other local clubs.
