The majority of the men's competitions are played from March to October, with competitions played almost every weekend. Most are played across Saturday and Sunday to give as many members as possible a chance to compete in them. There is a competition start sheet on a Sunday morning, but the rest of the time members can sign in the book in the pro shop and play in the competition when it suits them.

A few of these major trophies have a qualifying competition on a Sunday, with the top eight players going through to a knockout stage, with the final played on Finals Day in September, alongside the ladies, mixed and junior competition finals.

The Men have two scratch teams that compete in the Herts Scratch leagues - our A team in the main league and a B team in the B division. 2020 sees the men also competing in the Southern Counties Scratch League for the first time.

We have several club matches throughout the year against local clubs, which are a great way of meeting other members and, for away matches, playing other courses.
