Our Professional Shop is led by Head PGA Professional Harry Cater, who heads a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional service to both members and visitors, seven days a week.
Having progressed through the club from a successful junior member to Head Professional, Harry has a deep understanding of Welwyn Garden City Golf Club and its members. He oversees the day-to-day running of the Professional Shop while offering coaching for golfers of all abilities, helping players improve every aspect of their game.
Supporting Harry is Senior PGA Professional Curtis Whitelegg, an experienced coach with a particular specialism in putting. After completing his PGA qualification, Curtis developed a reputation as the club's putting specialist and continues to provide coaching across every area of the game. He is passionate about helping golfers reach their potential through modern coaching techniques and ongoing professional development and has enjoyed notable success coaching players from junior to national championship level.
